My parents' house and the oortraits that can be found there are the origin of this Work. I took pictures of them in their spacial context, turning the portraits as much into still-lifes as into pictures of people. In combination with two pictures I took of my parents, questions about the inhabitants of the house, time and present and missing people arise.
